WHAT TO EXPECT ON CAMP DAY
On camp day, the learning takes the form of a fictional agency adventure. Students become new employees in Phoenix Division, the emerging technologies incubator within Mythic Systems. The agency is charged with understanding and protecting cryptids worldwide.
Your assignment: help the agency adopt new technology and advise on its responsible use, starting with AI. Learn how it works, check its mistakes, and weigh its possibilities alongside its impact on people and the world.
MISSION 01 · INVESTIGATE
Your first agency assignment starts with a Sasquatch identification exercise. Explore how AI recognizes patterns, how its examples shape its answers, and why Phoenix Division should check the evidence before trusting a result.

MISSION 02 · ADVISE
In a role-play briefing, turn what you’ve learned into advice about AI’s risks and opportunities. Consider concerns such as water use and jobs, explain where AI could help, and explore responsible use and sensible rules.

THE PILOT CAMP
For students in 6th–8th grade, from any community. Camp will take place in Great Falls, VA; you do not need to live there to attend.
